AUTO ACCIDENTS

First, we are so sorry that you were in a car accident and hope that you and everyone in your vehicle will be okay.

Are you planning to file on your PIP, MEDPAY, or THIRD-PARTY INSURANCE or using an ATTORNEY?

Our office is equipped and prepared to take on the burden of filing all of the necessary paperwork involved and working with or suggesting an attorney so that you can focus on healing.

What is PIP / MEDPAY/ THIRD-PARTY INSURANCE?

PIP (Personal Injury Protection) is first-party auto insurance coverage that pays for your medical expenses and lost wages due to an auto accident whether it was your fault or the other driver's. It covers not only the driver of the vehicle but also all of the passengers in your vehicle that were hurt in the collision.  PIP coverage is mandatory in the state of Texas, and unless you signed a waiver declining the coverage; thus, you most likely have it automatically in your policy. Filing on your PIP does not affect your insurance rates; in fact, paying for your medical bills, etc is exactly what it is set up for.  The amounts of PIP coverage differ but are usually $2500, $5000, or $10,000.

Medpay only covers the medical expenses for both the driver and the passengers that were hurt in the accident whether or not you were the one at fault.

If you were not at fault then the Third-Party's insurance is also filed on for the claim.

WILL YOU NEED AN ATTORNEY?

That's a good question. If you were NOT "at fault", then we ALWAYS suggest that you work with one of our TRUSTED ATTORNEYS.  Hiring an attorney will NOT cost you any money out of pocket and will protect your interest in getting ALL of your medical bills and lost wages paid on your behalf.
